Saint Michael festivities held in Pitingal and Penela

Various community celebrations dedicated to Saint Michael are taking place in different regions. In Pitingal, Passa Sete, the traditional Festa do Padroeiro São Miguel will be held this Sunday. The event features a new vintage car meeting, religious activities, and a buffet lunch. Musical performances by Banda Stylo Musical and the duo Robson e Matheus will be provided with free entry.

In Penela, the São Miguel festivities begin with a five-day program expected to attract over 25,000 visitors. The event combines the Saint Michael festivals with the FAGRIP and the traditional Walnut and Onion Fair. This year's edition includes 105 exhibitors and features musical acts such as Àtoa, Insert Coin, The Gift, and Pete Tha Zouk. The municipality has invested approximately 200,000 euros in this edition, which also includes the inauguration of the Casa dos Saberes e do Território.
