Saint-Vallier selected to host stages of 2026 Tour de l’Avenir

The town of Saint-Vallier has been selected as a host for the 2026 edition of the Tour de l’Avenir, a prestigious cycling event known as the ‘Tour de France Espoirs’.

Saint-Vallier will serve as the finish line for the third stage, Vierzon – Saint-Vallier (232 km) on Saturday, August 22, 2026. The following day, the town will host the start of the fourth stage, Saint-Vallier – Semur-en-Auxois (131 km).

The 62nd edition of the race will take place from August 20 to 26, covering a total distance of 926 km across seven stages. The event is expected to host 25 international teams, including 150 riders and over 500 staff and organizers, supported by approximately 200 volunteers. The race will be broadcast globally via L’Équipe and Eurosport in 200 countries.
