Salahuddin Everett earns UFC contract after Contender Series knockout
Salahuddin Everett, a 29-year-old former security guard and personal assistant to UFC President Dana White, has secured a UFC contract following a dominant performance on Dana White’s Contender Series.
Everett, who entered the bout with an undefeated 4-0 professional record, achieved a first-round knockout against welterweight prospect Ozzy Martin. The victory earned Everett a formal contract with the promotion, transitioning him from a corporate and security role into a professional fighter.
Despite his new status as a signed athlete, Everett expressed a desire to maintain his current position within the UFC organization, stating, “I want to stay in this building. I love it here. I feel like don’t fix what’s not broken and we’ll just continue to keep working.”
