Poste Italiane begins July pension payments on July 1 nationwide
On 1 July 2026, Poste Italiane will make the July 2026 pension instalments available in all post offices across Italy, including the provinces of Salerno (288 offices), Molise (166), Trapani (70), Frosinone (130), Liguria (420), Oristano (83) and others. The payments will also be credited directly on the Libretto di Risparmio, Conto BancoPosta or Postepay Evolution accounts of pensioners who have chosen electronic credit.
Card‑holders can withdraw the cash at the region’s Postamat ATMs – for example, 171 machines in Salerno, 98 in Molise, 69 in Trapani, 101 in Frosinone, 304 in Liguria and 44 in Oristano – without visiting the counter. Those preferring to collect the pension at a counter must present a valid identity document or delegate a third party.
Poste Italiane offers a free insurance policy covering cash‑theft losses up to €700 per year for withdrawals made within two hours, applicable both at the counters and at Postamat ATMs. Retirees are advised to visit the offices in late morning or afternoon and, when possible, after the first few days of the month to reduce waiting times.
