Salfa and CODESAL expand student internship programs in Chile and Argentina

In Chile, construction and equipment firm Salfa has increased its partnership network with technical‑professional schools, providing more than 400 students in 2025 with hands‑on practice in mechanics, administration and technical services. The company says the lack of practice placements “is a structural problem that directly impacts the trajectory of thousands of young people,” and sees the initiative as both a talent pipeline and a social responsibility.

In Argentina’s Entre Ríos province, the public corporation CODESAL has begun hosting practicum placements for the YMCA Guardavidas cohort at the Termas del Ayuí facilities. Director Héctor Andrés Rousset praised the newly signed cooperation agreement, noting that the high‑quality venues will support the future lifeguards’ professional training.

Both initiatives aim to close the gap between education and employment by linking employers and public institutions with students seeking practical experience.
