Salgueiro samba school announces updates for 2027 Carnival

The Salgueiro samba school has announced key developments regarding its 2027 Carnival parade. Brazilian actress Taís Araújo visited the school's facilities to preview details of the upcoming performance. The visit is linked to her historical connection to the character Xica da Silva, a role that significantly impacted her career in 1996.

Additionally, the school announced that Rihanna de Castro will serve as the choreographer for the first wing of the 2027 parade, which will consist exclusively of women.
