Salmon DNA becomes a trending ingredient in cosmetic treatments

Salmon DNA, medically known as PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide), has emerged as a popular ingredient in the cosmetic and aesthetic industry. Extracted from salmon sperm, this polynucleotide is used in treatments designed to hydrate, regenerate, and rehabilitate skin tissue.

Experts note that PDRN works by activating fibroblasts to reduce sagging and stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. Unlike traditional fillers, these treatments aim for natural rejuvenation by improving skin texture, deep hydration, and repairing damage caused by aging and sun exposure without adding artificial volume to the face.
