Salon Orchestra Japan to hold winter concerts for families in Japan

Salon Orchestra Japan will perform a series of interactive winter-themed concerts designed specifically for parents and children, including infants from age zero. The events aim to provide a welcoming environment where children can move or cry without concern, addressing common anxieties parents face when attending live performances.

The concert program includes a “Let’s Dance the Waltz!” segment featuring pieces such as the “Skater’s Waltz” and “Funiculì, Funiculà.” Before the main performance, attendees can participate in an instrument experience corner to touch real violins and play with musical toys. Facilities such as nursing rooms, diaper changing areas, and stroller parking are provided to ensure comfort.

Scheduled performances include November 14, 2026, at Mitsunaka Hall in Kawanishi City, Hyogo Prefecture, and November 22, 2026, at the Tendo City Civic Cultural Center in Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture.
