Salta Cathedral receives new ornamental lighting

The Municipality of Salta has completed a comprehensive renovation of the ornamental lighting at the Basílica Catedral. This project aims to enhance the architectural details of the National Historic Monument ahead of the upcoming religious celebrations for the Señor y la Virgen del Milagro on September 15.

To protect the historic facade, the intervention avoided invasive modifications. The project involved replacing obsolete electrical installations, wiring, and control panels with standardized materials. Using large-scale lifting equipment to reach heights of 40 meters, workers installed new LED lights and projectors designed to provide warm, uniform amber tones that highlight the building's architecture without altering its identity.
