Salta volunteers seek donations for Milagro pilgrims

In Salta, Argentina, a group of 13 women from the Parador de Parque La Vega is seeking donations to support pilgrims participating in the Milagro procession. The volunteers, who provide breakfast, water, and rest areas for walkers arriving from the northwest of the country, have reported that resources are currently insufficient to meet the needs of the thousands of pilgrims expected.

The group is requesting contributions of bread, mineral water, fruit, tea, and other food items to sustain their service during the upcoming procession days on September 13 and 14. They are calling on local businesses and individuals to assist in ensuring that travelers from regions such as the Calchaquí Valleys and Catamarca can recover their energy before reaching the Basilica Cathedral.
