Saltillo implements women's empowerment and pet-friendly urban programs

The Saltillo municipal government is implementing various social and urban initiatives. Through the Municipal Institute for Women, the local government has been conducting workshops at IAC Saltillo focused on emotional well-being and financial autonomy. These sessions aim to provide women with practical tools for decision-making, resource management, and emotional stability within personal and professional environments.

Simultaneously, the Saltillo Department of the Environment and the Municipal Institute of Planning (IMPLAN) are conducting diagnostics to expand pet-friendly spaces in public areas. Using the ‘Activa tu Parque’ program, officials are analyzing locations such as the North and South Biblioparques to identify areas with high concentrations of pet owners. The goal is to create organized spaces that facilitate coexistence between pets, owners, and other citizens using the park system.
