Salvador expands cultural infrastructure and professional training
Salvador is experiencing a series of significant cultural developments aimed at professionalization, policy revision, and infrastructure expansion.
The Banco do Brasil will officially announce the opening date for its physical CCBB Salvador headquarters, located in the historic Palácio da Aclamação, during an event at the Museu de Arte da Bahia. The opening is scheduled for November, marking a permanent institutional presence for the bank in the Bahian cultural circuit.
In terms of professional development, the second edition of the Backstage Lab seminar will take place from November 3 to 5. This initiative focuses on qualifying technical professionals in areas such as production, sound, lighting, and scenography. This year, the program includes practical workshops in partnership with IATEC and Sennheiser.
Additionally, the 7th Municipal Culture Conference of Salvador will be held on November 4 and 5. Organized by the Fundação Gregório de Mattos and the City Hall, the conference serves as a participatory space to review and update the goals of the Municipal Culture Plan, which remains in effect until 2032.
