Salvador launches free technology training courses with certification

The Instituto de Inovação e Economia Circular (IEC) through the Centro de Recondicionamento de Computadores (CRC Bahia) is offering free 40‑hour technology courses in Salvador. The program includes basic computer skills, programming, computer and smartphone maintenance, digital entrepreneurship, graphic design using artificial intelligence, and classes tailored for adults and seniors. Participants receive a certificate upon completion.

Courses are organized for groups of at least 30 learners by community partners such as NGOs, schools, churches and social assistance centres. The initiative also recycles and responsibly disposes of electronic equipment, linking professional training with circular‑economy principles.
