Salvamont Argeș rescues six exhausted tourists in Făgăraș Mountains

Salvamont Argeș conducted an emergency intervention in the Făgăraș Mountains on the Blue Cross trail, specifically between Lacul Călțun and the Transfăgărășan Tunnel. Six foreign tourists required first aid and evacuation after reaching a state of advanced exhaustion, characterized by dizziness and vomiting.

The group had departed from Cabana Negoiu with the intention of reaching Bâlea. Following the incident, mountain rescuers emphasized that the Făgăraș mountain trails are demanding and require proper physical preparation, appropriate equipment, and realistic time planning for traversing the routes.
