Samba schools reveal themes for 2027 Carnival in São Paulo

Several samba schools have announced their themes and details for the 2027 Carnival in São Paulo.

Acadêmicos do Tucuruvi will return to the Special Group with the theme ‘Ogbódirin, Ògbóni’, a tribute to the Yoruba fraternity. Vai-Vai, the most titled school in São Paulo, will present ‘3 Obás de Xangô – A Mãe Bahia em Cantos, Cores e Memórias’, inspired by the film of the same name and honoring Brazilian cultural figures.

In the Access Group 2, Brinco da Marquesa will parade with the theme ‘O Brinco é só felicidade’. Meanwhile, Águia de Ouro has announced that Alex Malbec and Nathalia Guimarães will lead their pavilion during their parade in Access Group 1.
