Argentina infrastructure: Paving in Quilmes and water repairs in Puerto Tirol

Various municipal and state-led infrastructure projects are underway across different regions in Argentina.

In Quilmes, provincial deputy Mayra Mendoza and interim mayor Eva Mieri inspected the start of paving works for 10 blocks in the Villa Alcira neighborhood of Bernal Este. The project, funded entirely by municipal resources, includes the installation of new storm drainage systems, pipes, and inspection chambers, as well as the reconstruction of sidewalks.

In Puerto Tirol, the state company Sameep has taken over the management of the potable water service from a local cooperative that faced operational difficulties. Sameep has deployed technical teams to conduct a comprehensive survey of the network, identifying and repairing numerous leaks to improve service efficiency and infrastructure stability for local families.
