Sami Zayn to defend Undisputed WWE Title against Cody Rhodes on Raw

Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn is scheduled to defend his title against Cody Rhodes during the October 19 episode of WWE Raw at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California. While WWE has not confirmed if the bout will be televised or held as an untelevised dark match, the outcome carries significant implications for the upcoming Crown Jewel event on November 7.

Currently, Zayn is slated to face World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns for the Crown Jewel Championship. However, if Rhodes defeats Zayn in San Diego, he could earn the opportunity to challenge Reigns at the premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This match marks Zayn’s second title defense of his current reign, which began on September 11 after he defeated CM Punk.

In addition to the championship match, the Raw lineup is expected to feature an appearance by Roman Reigns and a match between JD McDonagh and Joe Hendry.
