As a result of the chaos, CM Punk and Sami Zayn are now scheduled to face each other for the Undisputed WWE Championship on the September 11 episode of SmackDown.

Following the disruption, Finn Balor expressed his frustration with Zayn on social media, calling him out via Instagram after the interference prevented any of the triple threat participants from becoming the number one contender.
