Samsun youth receive awards for mosque and Quran course participation

In Samsun, the Canik Municipality and the Canik District Mufti organized the fifth annual “Haydi Güle Oynaya Camiye Gel” (Come to the Mosque with Joy) project. The initiative rewards children and youth who participate in summer Quran courses and daily prayers.

During a ceremony at the Canik Atatürk Sports Hall, 2,500 participants received prizes, including bicycles, drones, and VR goggles. The event featured interactive science demonstrations, short films, and musical performances by artist Celal Karatüre. Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı stated that the project aims to strengthen the bond between youth and mosques while fostering national and spiritual values.
