Samsung Asset Management expands FunETF to include 5,500 US-listed ETFs

Samsung Asset Management announced that its FunETF platform will now provide detailed information on roughly 5,500 ETFs listed on U.S. exchanges in addition to about 1,140 domestic Korean ETFs. The upgrade enables users to view and compare up to five ETFs simultaneously across both markets and adds a daily “US ETF Theme” service that highlights the previous day’s New York Stock Exchange trends and popular investment themes.

To promote the new features, the firm is running a customer event: anyone who registers on FunETF and adds three or more U.S. ETFs to their watchlist before August 31 will receive a coffee coupon and be entered to win one of five Korean Air gift cards worth 300,000 KRW each. Samsung Asset Management said the expansion responds to growing demand for global ETF investment data and that the service will be continuously refined.
