Samsung Electronics launches support program for semiconductor suppliers
Samsung Electronics has launched the ‘DS Together’ initiative to express gratitude to employees of its semiconductor (Device Solutions) division suppliers. The program aims to support approximately 58,000 employees across 67 partner companies.
As part of the event, Samsung is operating ‘Win-Win Cafes’ featuring coffee trucks at major supplier sites, including Daeduck Electronics, Saesol Diamond Industrial, TLB, and PSK. This phase is scheduled to continue for two months. Additionally, from December 21 to 23, the company will host ‘Movie Day,’ inviting roughly 30,000 employees and their families to film screenings in the Giheung, Hwaseong, Pyeongtaek, and Cheonan regions.
Beyond these events, Samsung maintains various shared growth programs, including financial support, workplace environment improvements, and technical/ESG competitiveness enhancement. The company also provides safety incentives, having distributed 47.8 billion won in the first half of this year, and operates an ‘Environment and Safety Academy’ to strengthen the safety capabilities of its partners.
