Samsung Electronics opens EHS heat pump training center in Suwon

Samsung Electronics has established a dedicated EHS heat pump training center at its CS Academy in Suwon, South Korea. The facility is designed to enhance the installation and maintenance expertise of B2B partners and engineers, focusing on the company’s Electric Heat Pump System (EHS) solutions.

The training center replicates real-world installation environments, featuring equipment such as alternating and thermal storage water tanks, hot water control kits, floor heating distributors, and fan coil units. Engineers can practice the entire process, from water pipe construction to product installation and AI-based smart diagnostics using the Home Appliances Smart Service (HASS) program.

This initiative aligns with South Korean government goals to distribute 3.5 million high-efficiency heat pumps by 2035. Samsung is also ramping up domestic production, with a dedicated EHS heat pump boiler production line in Gwangju expected to begin mass production in late September. The company continues to expand its global HVAC training programs in regions including the Netherlands, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
