Samsung Electronics showcases glasses-free 3D technology at Tokyo Game Show

At the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2026 in Chiba, Japan, Samsung Electronics and game developer NC showcased Spatial Signage technology. This innovation allows for glasses-free 3D displays, bringing fantasy characters into physical spaces.

Using 85-inch screens and 3D Plate technology, the demonstration featured characters from the urban fantasy RPG Astrae Oratio. The setup, designed to resemble an elevator installation, creates an illusion of depth that makes characters appear to be at a life-like scale and capable of interacting with visitors without the need for special eyewear.
