Samsung expands Quick Share to support up to 10 GB transfers across Android and Windows

Samsung has enhanced its Quick Share feature to enable rapid transfer of large files between Android devices, Windows PCs and tablets. The update allows users to move files up to 10 GB per link using Wi‑Fi Direct or an internet connection when a direct link is unavailable, eliminating the need for Bluetooth pairing. Quick Share can send the same file to up to five recipients simultaneously and includes privacy controls such as link expiration and selectable recipients.

The functionality relies on integration between Samsung and Google accounts, improving interoperability across the Android and Windows ecosystems. It is positioned for professional users who need to share bulky documents, media or data while on the move, offering higher speeds, lower latency and reduced friction compared with earlier sharing methods.
