Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 3 nears launch following wireless certification
Samsung is nearing the launch of its next-generation smart tracker, the Galaxy SmartTag 3. The device has recently received wireless certification from South Korea’s National Radio Research Institute under the model number EI-T5900.
Following the pattern of previous generations, the EI-T5900 model number is expected to correspond to the SmartTag 3. While an official release date has not been announced, industry reports suggest a potential launch as early as September, possibly alongside the Galaxy Tab S12 series.
Design leaks indicate the new tracker may feature a rounded square shape, similar to Samsung’s recent smartwatch designs. Unlike previous models, it may lack a built-in attachment hole, potentially requiring users to purchase separate accessories for mounting. The device is expected to support Bluetooth and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) connectivity, integrating with the Samsung Find network.
