Samsung India Announces Top 100 Solve for Tomorrow 2026 Teams
Samsung India has unveiled the 100 teams selected for the fifth edition of its Solve for Tomorrow youth innovation programme. The cohort, drawn from thousands of applications nationwide, includes over half of the teams from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities such as Medchal‑Malkajgiri (Telangana), Buxar (Bihar), Kamrup (Assam) and Sundargarh (Odisha). Projects address artificial intelligence, health, education, sports technology and environmental sustainability, with examples ranging from an AI‑powered public‑safety reporting platform to smart wearables that convert text to tactile Braille.
The teams will receive mentorship from startup founders, industry experts and academics at FITT‑IIT Delhi, with the Top 40 advancing to a 10‑day bootcamp and visits to Samsung R&D centres. Awards include cash grants of up to INR 2 crore for the four winning teams, INR 8 lakh for the Top 40, and additional prizes such as Samsung laptops and Galaxy Z Flip smartphones. The programme marks Samsung’s 30‑year presence in India and aims to decentralise youth entrepreneurship across the country.
