Samsung launches AI appliances and Micro RGB displays in Latin America

Samsung has introduced new high-end consumer electronics in the Dominican Republic and Argentina, focusing on artificial intelligence and advanced display technologies.

In the Dominican Republic, Samsung and Casa Cuesta launched the Bespoke AI AutoView RF80H smart refrigerator. The appliance features an AutoView system with a proximity sensor that illuminates the interior through a glass door when a user approaches, helping to maintain temperature stability and energy efficiency. The model also includes an advanced ice system capable of producing four types of ice: curved, crushed, sphere, and half-sphere.

In Argentina, Samsung debuted its Micro RGB technology. This display architecture utilizes independent micro-LEDs in red, green, and blue to achieve 100% BT. 2020 color space coverage. The technology, featured in the R85H model, utilizes the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro to analyze motion and depth. Additional AI features include ‘AI Football Mode Pro’ for sports optimization and ‘AI Sound Controller Pro’ to enhance audio clarity by distinguishing voices from ambient noise.
