Samsung AI product launches in Latin America

Samsung has expanded its rollout of artificial intelligence-driven consumer electronics across Latin America.

Initially, the company launched the Bespoke AI RF80H refrigerator in Ecuador. This appliance features AutoView technology, which uses proximity sensors to illuminate the interior through a glass door, and AI Precise Cooling to stabilize temperatures. The unit also includes an AI Energy mode designed to reduce power consumption by up to 15%.

Following the Ecuadorian launch, Samsung introduced new products in the Dominican Republic and Argentina. In the Dominican Republic, the Bespoke AI AutoView refrigerator was launched in partnership with Casa Cuesta, highlighting an advanced ice system capable of producing four distinct ice types: curved, crushed, sphere, and half-sphere. In Argentina, the company debuted Micro RGB display technology, specifically the R85H model. This display utilizes a Micro RGB AI Engine Pro to analyze motion and depth, alongside specialized features such as ‘AI Football Mode Pro’ and ‘AI Sound Controller Pro’ to optimize sports viewing and audio clarity.

On September 9, 2026, Samsung presented its Bespoke AI portfolio in Mexico City during ‘The Brief’ event. The presentation focused on integrating climate control, laundry, and kitchen appliances through the SmartThings platform to create a connected home experience. HS Jo, President and CEO of Samsung Latin America, stated that technology should assume operational tasks to free up valuable time for users. Key solutions highlighted included the WindFree™ AI air conditioning system and various intelligent appliances designed to optimize energy consumption and automate routine tasks.
