Samsung Notes tests new S Pen drag‑handwriting feature

Samsung is testing a new S Pen action called “Drag handwriting” in its Samsung Notes app, discovered through an APK teardown of version 4.4.45.37. The feature lets users press and hold handwritten text, then drag it to create additional space on the page, eliminating the need to erase and rewrite notes.

The same build also adds compatibility safeguards that may block notes created with the new version from opening on older devices, or present them as read‑only until the app is updated. No official release date has been announced, and the feature may be limited to certain models or later removed.
