San Andrés Cholula launches forum on cadastral modernization

Guadalupe Cuautle, the municipal president of San Andrés Cholula, inaugurated the forum ‘Cadastral Modernization and Legal Security: Challenges and Perspectives in Territorial Management.’ The initiative aims to modernize cadastral management to provide greater legal certainty regarding the property and heritage of families, businesses, and communities.

Cuautle emphasized that modernizing the cadastre is essential for generating security, organizing territory, strengthening institutions, and creating better conditions for municipal development. The forum serves as a platform to identify challenges and build solutions to improve cadastral processes, expand the tax base, and strengthen local revenue.

The event includes presentations and workshops led by specialists in notary matters, valuation, and historical heritage. Alejandro Eduardo Guevara Sanginés, rector of IBERO Puebla, highlighted the importance of integrating academic expertise into public management, while municipal treasurer Nalleli Anali Santos Bautista noted the technical scope of the forum.
