San Bartolo Longo celebrations set for Latiano

The Diocese of Oria is preparing for significant religious celebrations in honor of San Bartolo Longo. The festivities, held in his birthplace of Latiano, mark the first celebration following his canonization and coincide with the Centenary of his Transit (1926-2026).

Scheduled for Monday, October 5, 2026, the event will be presided over by Bishop Vincenzo Pisanello. The program includes a solemn Eucharistic celebration, a Rosary procession with the Saint's statue, and the formal delivery of the annual memorial to the diocesan community. Additionally, Bishop Pisanello has invited all parishes within the Diocese of Oria to celebrate the supplication to the Madonna del Rosario on October 4.
