San Bernardino man assaulted and robbed in jacuzzi

Greg Medina, a 48-year-old chef, was the victim of an unprovoked assault while relaxing in a jacuzzi at the Creekside Village apartments in San Bernardino, California. While Medina was listening to a class lecture through earbuds, two suspects approached him from behind.

Surveillance footage captured one suspect delivering a hard kick to the back of Medina’s head, while a second suspect grabbed his iPhone, valued at over $1,000, from the concrete. The attackers reportedly laughed during the incident and as they fled the scene.

In addition to the stolen phone, Medina lost his AirPods and suffered broken glasses during the attack. He noted that the assault could have resulted in him losing consciousness or drowning. San Bernardino police are currently investigating the incident.
