San Carlos: Ride-hailing driver attacked during robbery

A ride-hailing driver was attacked during a robbery in the San Carlos area of La Plata. The victim, a 38-year-old man identified as Ariel from Villa Elvira, was performing motorcycle deliveries when he was intercepted by three assailants near the intersection of 144 and 526.

According to reports, one suspect brandished a revolver while another used a sharp object to strike the victim in the abdomen and right side of his body. Despite the physical attacks, the victim was not seriously injured, noting that his clothing likely prevented deeper wounds. The assailants fled the scene with his 2024 Mondial motorcycle, which serves as his primary tool for work. The incident has been reported to the La Unión Subcomisaría.
