Violent robberies of ride-hailing and delivery drivers

Overview

A series of violent robberies targeting ride-hailing and delivery workers has been reported in different areas.

In the Ludueña neighborhood, an Uber driver was robbed at knifepoint by two individuals posing as passengers. The attackers stole a mobile phone and cash, fleeing on foot after discarding the driver's vehicle keys.

In the San Carlos area of La Plata, a 38-year-old delivery driver was intercepted by three assailants. During the robbery, one suspect brandished a revolver while another used a sharp object to strike the victim in the abdomen and side. The attackers fled with the victim's motorcycle.
