San Diego hosts exhibition honoring filmmaker Carlo Rambaldi

The Sparks Gallery in San Diego is hosting “United in Art – 100 Stars – Rambaldi’s Orbit,” an exhibition celebrating the legacy of Italian special effects artist Carlo Rambaldi. The event, which runs until November 6, follows a previous edition in New York and commemorates the centenary of Rambaldi's birth.

Promoted by the Carlo Rambaldi Cultural Foundation and curated by Daniela Rambaldi and Simona HeArt, the exhibition features a diverse range of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, and digital art. The works aim to reinterpret Rambaldi’s creative universe and his ability to blend imagination with reality.

Among the participating artists is Matteo Borgardt, whose sculpture “Entwined” utilizes a natural root found in Northern California. The event also included the presentation of the Carlo Rambaldi Prize to actress and producer Jo Champa.
