San Ferdinando di Puglia hosts VSF3 Civil Protection youth camp

The VSF3 Civil Protection association in San Ferdinando di Puglia successfully completed its eighth school camp, titled ‘Anch'io sono la Protezione Civile’. Held from August 8 to August 12, 2026, the program was designed for children aged 10 to 14 to introduce them to volunteerism, prevention, and emergency response.

Participants engaged in practical training, including first aid, emergency management, and search techniques using drones and canine units. The curriculum also covered forest fire prevention and the operational structure of the Civil Protection system. In collaboration with the Carabinieri, the camp addressed social safety issues, specifically educating youth on bullying and cyberbullying.
