A magnitude 3.0 earthquake struck near San José del Cabo, Mexico, on Tuesday afternoon. The epicenter was located approximately 5 kilometers north of the city in the El Zacatal area, at a depth of 13.7 kilometers.

Residents in several neighborhoods, including Ánimas Altas, Magisterial, and El Zacatal, reported feeling the tremor. While some experienced a brief movement or rumbling, no material damage or injuries have been reported.
