San Juan del Río mayor leads municipal service day in Lomo de Toro

Municipal President Roberto Cabrera Valencia of San Juan del Río oversaw the 46th "Viernes en Lomo de Toro" outreach on Friday. Officials from the municipal DIF, water and sewage board, and the secretariats of Women, Social Development, Public Works, Urban Development, Public Safety and Agricultural Development set up service desks to receive requests, distribute information and provide immediate assistance.

The event also included a visual‑health campaign, the painting of three speed‑reduction signs, distribution of tomatoes, clothing donations, tree planting and the rehabilitation of public spaces. The program aims to maintain dialogue with residents, improve urban appearance and deliver municipal services directly to the community.

Cabrera highlighted the importance of a close‑to‑citizen government and coordinated action between authorities and locals to address community needs.
