Mexico AML regulations to be addressed by CEMEFI

The Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) will host a session of Conexión Dakshina on August 26, 2026, to address significant changes in Mexico’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) framework. The session will focus on the implications for organizations engaged in vulnerable activities, covering new compliance requirements such as formal risk assessments, donor classification based on risk levels, and the identification of controlling beneficiaries. Additionally, the meeting will cover new obligations regarding training, auditing, and monitoring mechanisms, as well as key dates for the implementation of these provisions.
