San Juan industrial leaders discuss SME integration and mining

The Unión Industrial de San Juan (UISJ) held the 2026 edition of Emprezar, an event bringing together students, SMEs, entrepreneurs, and representatives from the scientific and cultural sectors. The initiative aims to foster a comprehensive business community by linking local entrepreneurs with academic institutions and large companies.

A primary focus of the meeting was the relationship between the mining sector and local industry. Discussions centered on preparing local SMEs through technical training and capacity building to meet the high quality and service standards required by upcoming large-scale mining operations in the region. This strategy seeks to strengthen the provincial value chain and generate local employment.
