South American regions face severe storms, wind, and snow alerts

Multiple regions in South America are facing severe weather conditions. In Argentina, the National Meteorological Service (SMN) has issued various orange and yellow alerts across several provinces. These warnings include heavy storms with potential hail and wind gusts exceeding 90 km/h in Chaco and Misiones, Zonda winds in San Juan and other Cuyo regions, and significant snowfall in Mendoza, Chubut, and Tierra del Fuego.

In addition to storms and wind, parts of the country are experiencing temperature shifts, including sudden drops and the arrival of polar air. The weather patterns include a combination of low-pressure systems and moisture, leading to diverse phenomena such as the sudestada in Buenos Aires and heavy snow in the Andes.

In Paraguay, meteorologists have issued alerts for 11 departments due to expected moderate to strong thunderstorms, wind gusts, and a high probability of hail. Temperatures are expected to fluctuate, with warm conditions in the north and Chaco, followed by a slight temperature decrease as southern winds move in.
