San Juan launches REFRES workshop to transform waste into resources

In San Juan, Argentina, the REFRES Strategic Workshop, titled ‘Redesigning the Future of Waste’, has commenced. The event aims to transform territorial waste challenges into implementable projects and sustainable solutions.

Organized by CONICET, the National University of San Juan, and the Faculty of Engineering, the workshop brings together representatives from science, government, production, technology, and finance. Participants include officials from the provincial government, as well as leaders from the renewable energy, mining, construction, and SME chambers, among other professional councils and industrial unions.
