San Juan Province to transform National Route 40 North

The Government of San Juan has announced a comprehensive transformation project for National Route 40 North. The initiative aims to modernize road infrastructure, enhance safety, and support the region's growing productive, tourism, and mining sectors.

The project involves five distinct sections between Chimbas and Jáchal, including reconstruction, widening, repaving, and improved hydraulic works and signaling. One of the immediate priorities is the 28-kilometer stretch connecting San Roque to Tucunuco. This specific segment will undergo complete pavement reconstruction, widening of the roadway to 7.30 meters, and the addition of 3-meter asphalted shoulders on each side.
