San Luis Potosí Governor launches water well and highway project in Altiplano

Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona inaugurated the deep‑well Fátima in the community of Santa Martha, Cedral. The well will deliver 25 liters per second, expanding potable water access to thousands of residents in 22 localities across Cedral and Matehuala.

He also kicked off construction of the 89‑kilometre Salinas de Hidalgo‑Santo Domingo highway, a 600‑million‑peso project intended to improve road safety and connectivity for approximately 120,000 families in the Altiplano region, linking municipalities such as Charcas, Moctezuma, Venado, Ahualulco, Villa de Ramos, Salinas de Hidalgo and Santo Domingo.
