San Luis Potosí Governor Opens Villa de Pozos Alternate Road
Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona inaugurated the new Vía Alterna in Villa de Pozos, San Luis Potosí, using an investment of more than 100 million pesos. The alternate road links federal highways 70 (Rioverde–Ciudad Valles) and 57, shortening the travel time between the two routes to about eight minutes and serving roughly 98,000 residents, drivers, and transport workers in the metropolitan area.
During the same ceremony the governor launched the reconstruction of Calle California in the San Nicolás de Jassos locality, a project expected to benefit over 25,000 people. The works are part of a broader state effort that has allocated 850 million pesos to infrastructure, street rehabilitation, sports facilities and social programs in Villa de Pozos during its first year as a municipality, aiming to improve mobility, road safety and industrial connectivity.
