San Luis Potosí Governor Ricardo Gallardo launches 2,000 LED streetlights in Ciudad Valles

Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona of San Luis Potosí inaugurated 2,000 new LED luminaires in Ciudad Valles, funded by a 5.5 million‑peso state investment. The lights replace older fixtures to improve nighttime visibility on streets and public spaces, aiming to enhance safety for pedestrians and drivers and to support commercial and recreational activities after dark. LED technology is expected to lower energy consumption and extend service life compared with conventional lamps. Gallardo indicated that the project is part of a broader plan to upgrade infrastructure across the state's four regions, improving mobility and public services for residents of San Luis Potosí.
