San Luis Potosí Governor Ricardo Gallardo launches road paving and skills‑training programs

Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona of the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí announced the start of a 73.9‑kilometre road‑paving project between Charcas and Santo Domingo. The work, funded with 73.9 million pesos, will improve mobility and safety for more than 120,000 residents and includes new signage and water‑supply improvements for local communities.

In parallel, the state’s Institute for Training and Employment (ICAT) delivered driving‑course certificates to women in Villa de Zaragoza and conducted a basic barber‑shop training program for youth in Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, aiming to boost personal safety, employability and small‑business opportunities.

These initiatives are part of the governor’s broader effort to expand infrastructure, education and self‑employment options across San Luis Potosí.
