San Marino Regency thanks organizers of Pope Leo XIV visit

The Regency of San Marino has issued a collective expression of gratitude to the various organizations and individuals responsible for the successful pastoral visit of Pope Leo XIV to the Republic.

At Palazzo Vallonila, the Captains Regent praised the collaborative effort required to organize the historic event within a three-month timeframe. Foreign Secretary Luca Beccari commended the spirit of service shown by diplomatic officials, including Ambassador Alessandra Albertini and Ceremonial Head Silvia Berti, as well as the State Secretariat and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The logistical success involved a synergy between civil and ecclesiastical institutions, including the Diocese of San Marino Montefeltro, volunteers, and local citizens. Security and essential services were managed by military corps, police forces, civil protection, and autonomous companies. Additionally, San Marino RTV was recognized for its role in broadcasting the event to an international audience.
