San Martín Autodrome to host Turismo Nacional and undergo $272M upgrade

The Autódromo Ciudad de San Martín is set to host the tenth round of the Turismo Nacional championship on October 10 and 11. To facilitate attendance, organizers have announced special entry benefits, including free admission to the General sector for children up to 10 years old, retirees, and persons with disabilities.

Following the racing event, the province will initiate a $272 million investment project to improve the circuit's infrastructure. The immediate works will focus on constructing new sanitary facilities, with an estimated completion time of two to three months. This project is part of a broader master plan involving local municipalities and the Asociación Volantes del Este (AVE) to upgrade the venue with new grandstands and containment barriers, aiming to allow the track to host more national racing categories.
