Turismo Nacional racing in San Martín
Overview
The Turismo Nacional championship is scheduled to return to San Martín for its tenth round on October 10 and 11. Following a successful event the previous year, the Asociación Pilotos Automóviles Turismo (Apat) and the Municipality of Gral. San Martín have formalized the hosting agreement.
Organizers have announced various entry benefits for the upcoming race, including free admission for retirees, persons with disabilities, and children under 10.
In conjunction with the event, the province plans to launch a $272 million infrastructure investment project at the Autódromo Ciudad de San Martín. Initial works will focus on constructing new sanitary facilities over a two-to-three-month period. This initiative is part of a larger master plan involving the Asociación Volantes del Este (AVE) and local municipalities to install new grandstands and containment barriers, intended to enable the venue to host additional national racing categories.
